REDUCING STRESS

Most of us know that stress kills.  It puts the body and mind in a state of “fight or flight” creating an overproduction of cortisol, a hormone, released from the adrenal glands.  Stress management is crucial to your wellbeing.  Taking time for you, resting, doing breathe work, going for a walk, reading, meditating, painting, writing, praying, exercising, spending time in nature or with family and friends or participating in a hobby can give you pleasure and rest.  Simply disconnecting for a while into peaceful surroundings, time with yourself creates calmness and rest.  Meditation also allows the mind to slow down and rest. 

 If you have lived with chronic stress for years, there could be symptoms that your body is exhibiting like sign and symptoms of Adrenal Fatigue or other chronic illnesses.  If you’re in this place, it’s a huge red flag for needed positive change wherever you are in your life journey.

Take care of yourself, no one else can.
