CREATING A PRAYER/MEDITATION SPACE

Calming your mind is key to clear thinking and peace: find a quiet space, close your eyes, deep breathe in and out X8.  Let your mind empty.  This takes practice every day.  Commit yourself to your wellbeing.   Place this activity/ritual as a reminder on your daily calendar.  It’s best if you do your breath work and gratitude first thing in the morning as you wake up. You may choose a community of worship.  Whatever works for you.

If rituals provide comfort for you, here are Items for your prayer space/altar:

  • White Candle (or other colors depending on your intention)
  • Incense
  • A symbol, talisman, amulet for your prayers (cross, Star of David, Buddah, etc)

Say a prayer/intention for help and/or thanksgiving.
