THE FREEDOM OF FORGIVENESS

When you become aware of the need for forgiveness, you can start by forgiving yourself first by letting go of the negative energy because deep down your desire is to feel better.  This is the first step.  To feel good, forgiving the “offender” and yourself is a process of letting go. Tears and tantrums, crying, screaming releases all that negative energy.  It will surface and that’s a good thing.   This process is powerful and liberating for growth.  Often it’s painful, because you have to release the pain from your body which has absorbed years or decades of  negative energy. You allow a state of vulnerability to start again with a more positive outlook.

Remember failures or mistakes should be considered as lessons because it’s part of what your soul has needed to learn.  Your life experience can harden your heart or allow your heart to become vulnerable to help persevere on your path to love.  In your mind I invite you to say: “It is done, the past is behind me”.  No need to look back.  “I am present in the now.”  Repeating this daily for a month or two, will help you feel and believe this healing process.
